Owned in partnership by QANTAS and Australia Post Corporation, Australian Air Express with its 2000+ team has unique access to freight and logistics infrastructure that ensures it is a world class organisation with enviable services.
The role of the HR Adviser has recently been created and will primarily provide HR Support to a Team of approx 100 Sales Support Consultants (Contact/Call Centre) based in corporate offices at Tullamarine.
The duties of the HR Adviser will be varied, ranging from recruitment and selection, performance management, industrial relations, stakeholder engagement and change management.
This role will require someone with good work and life experience who can apply sound judgement to a new/young workforce and management team to build a more stable operating environment.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- High level of professionalism and personal motivation.
- Experience in designing and deploying robust recruitment and selection methods to a volume hiring business.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills, including a proven ability to develop and partner with immediate team members, communicate with senior managers and executives, all levels of staff and business partners and to maintain networks with high level professional representation.
- Experience of developing and deploying credible performance management frameworks.
- Proven experience in implementing change management strategies.
- Proven Behavioural interviewing techniques and job Analysis expertise.
- Previous experience in a call centre environment of 80+ staff (desirable).
- Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources or related field.
