Human Resources Manager (12 month maternity leave contract position)

The Energy and Water Ombudsman (Victoria) (EWOV) is an independent body that investigates and facilitates the resolution of customer complaints about Victorian electricity, gas and water companies.
Currently EWOV is seeking to appoint a temporary Human Resources Manager to fill a 12 month maternity leave vacancy. The role is a diverse and exciting one, responsible for the development and implementation of EWOV's HR strategy.
The role delivers a quality service to the organisation in relation to recruitment/attraction, retention, remuneration and benefits, competencies and performance reviews, learning and development, career progression and staff morale.
The Human Resources Manager is a valued member of EWOV's management and leadership teams, and the role is supported by the Human Resources Officer and the Learning and Development Officer.
The Human Resources Manager will be experienced working in HR in mid-sized organisations, hold a relevant tertiary qualification, and be able to demonstrate some knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other HR and IR legislation as well as experience in performance management procedures.
